An important part of dance education at CSDS is encouraging our dancers to give back to the community they live in. These actions develop important traits in our dancers: gratitude, perspective and empathy; helping them to become well-rounded, kind, happy humans!
CSDS collected and delivered 538 items to Companion Cats and Kitten Connection. The director for these organizations was so very appreciative of our donations! …AND the cats were happy that we hung out to play a bit at delivery!
CSDS participated in Calhoun County’s Miles 4 Memories Community Stroll in Downtown Battle Creek.
As a team, our ShowTeam dancers raised over $1200 for this amazing organization doing great work to assist in the care and treatment for area residents and families affected by dementia. 🧠🫶🏽
