Proudly celebrating 41 years at CENTER STAGE!
An important part of dance education at CSDS is encouraging our dancers to give back to the community they live in. These actions develop important traits in our dancers: gratitude, perspective and empathy; helping them to become well-rounded, kind, happy humans!

For the month November, our Center Stage dancers came together to spread warmth by collecting gently used coats, hats, mittens, and more for Charitable Union. It was the perfect chance to clean out closets while supporting a wonderful cause. We donated a total of - 57 coats - 30 hats - 12 pairs of gloves - and 12 pairs of snow pants. Giving back to our community is something we value deeply here at CSDC. We are honored to make a positive impact together, one donation at a time.

For the month of November, our CSDC dancers collected donations for Companion Cats and Kitten Konnections — two incredible non-profit organizations that provide sanctuary, medical care, love, and rehoming for abandoned cats and kittens in need. The staff were so appreciative of the generous support, and the cats and kittens were thrilled with all the goodies too!

Our CSDC Company dancers participated in a meaningful “Minute to Win It" Kick-a-Thon”. These amazing dancers raised funds to support hurricane Helene victims and provide relief for those in need. During our preparation, we talked about the impact of natural disasters, imagining what it would feel like to be left homeless and alone in the aftermath of a horrific storm. We agreed that compassion and support can make a difference in someone's darkest moment.
This fundraiser was a huge success! A total of 37 dancers participated, delivering an impressive 2,310 kicks to support hurricane victims. The dancers collected a grand total of $3,444 in donations!
“Center Stage has helped my daughter grow not just as a dancer, but as a person. I love that the studio encourages community service. It’s so special to see the kids giving back while doing what they love. Center Stage truly feels like a second home.”
