Proudly celebrating 40 years at CSDS!
We were fortunate to join CSDS 15 years ago with our daughters and we have never looked back. What my children have learned from the staff at CSDS has been invaluable. The staff is always putting the well being of the kids, FIRST! The compassion and focus of the staff is incredible!
Miss Lisa has over 35 years of experience teaching dance. She is certified to teach dance from Dance Educators of America. She sits on national judging panels for Showbiz, Tribute and PrimeTime Dance Competition.
My name is Jamie Markos and I am the Assistant Director of the studio. I began my dance journey at 9 years old. After my father’s passing, my sister encouraged my mom to enroll me in a dance class at Center Stage Dance Studio to have a healthy outlet to fill my time. Not sure what to expect, I walked through the doors at CSDS and healed my broken heart. What I found in lisa and CSDS is another “home”. At first dance was a hobby to pass time, but as I stayed committed and loved coming to CSDS, dance developed into an incredibly rewarding career. I feel so fortunate to have worked here for 30 years. As both a student and teacher, I was taught the importance of hard work, empathy and continuing education. Dance, like all things in life, is ever changing, so I am committed to always evolving my own dance education and pass that along to each of my students. I am certified to teach dance by Dance Educators of America & Dance Masters of America. I am married to Gregory Sackett, we are blessed with two children Mila (11) and Niko (8) who are in 5th and 2nd grade at St. Joesph Elementary. I am excited to celebrate our 39th season of DANCE.
Miss Megan received her Bachelors of Fine Arts Degree from Marymount University in New York. She is also a former member of the Center Stage Dance Studio ShowTeam.
Miss Jessica is a certified GroovaRoo instructor and is a former member of the Center Stage Dance Studio Show Team.
Hi, I’m Miss Bailey!
I have been a teacher at Center Stage Dance Studio since 2016. I earned my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Development/Education in 2019. I am a certified dance instructor through the Dance Masters of America. I started dancing at CSDS when I was 11 years old. I was on the company showteam for 6 years. Before dance, I tried almost every sport, none of which were for me. When I first began my dance journey I was extremely shy and withdrawn. After the support, encouragement and love from my dance teachers here at CSDS, I finally broke out of my shell. I found confidence in myself and found my passion for dance. Dance was, and still is, my favorite outlet. I would not be the person I am today without dance in my life. Through dance, I have met lifelong friends/family, learned to express myself, gained self confidence, independence, and so much more.
My name is Danielle Leslie! I started at CSDS when I was 2 years old and danced until I graduated at the age of 18. At CSDS, I worked my way onto the competitive team at the age of 7. After I graduated, I was in the Navy for a few years where I met my Husband: Will. Since then, we have had 3 beautiful children, and lived in 4 different states. While I was living in Colorado, I got my RYT 200 Teaching Certification and became a registered yoga instructor. I also graduated top of my class in Clinical Massage Therapy while living in Chicago. I love learning about the body and finding creative ways for all ages to move and get active. I am looking forward to meeting all of you!
